How Our Grassroots Mission Grew into an Award-Winning Team
Markzin began in 2019 as Markzin Business Services LLP in Hooghly, West Bengal. From day one, our founding vision was clear: to bridge the digital divide for micro, small, and medium enterprises while building purpose-built technology for communities that digital revolutions often leave behind.
Our work unites disciplined software engineering with deep on-the-ground understanding. Whether conducting rigorous needs assessments for humanitarian and disaster-risk interventions, engineering digital microfinance platforms in remote areas of the Sundarbans, or deploying multilingual digital welfare tools in tea gardens, we treat technology as an equalizer of opportunity.
In 2024, to scale our capabilities, expand research initiatives, and meet enterprise demands, we incorporated as Markzin Young Private Limited under the Companies Act 2013. Today, our team of seasoned advisors and youthful innovators continues to build sustainable, accessible digital products that generate lasting social impact.

Suprio is a Marketing and Communications Expert with more than 22 years of experience in planning and managing various local, national and international initiatives around Youth Skill Development and social entrepreneurship. He holds Master's Degrees in Journalism & Mass Communications from University of Calcutta and in Political Science from Rabindra Bharati University, along with an MBA specializing in Marketing. Through his extensive experience as a Social Development Professional, Suprio has built expertise in Market Research, Business Planning & Promotion, and introducing technology-based solutions for community development.
