Youth-isation of Business in India… Something inevitable & unstoppable

It’s the change that is constant here and one needs to evaluate and mutate from one ‘Avtar’ and the needs of the world keep shifting to keep us all on our toes! It’s the time when information is transmitted (and transformed also) at the speed of light and getting accessible to majority of people. Consequently, interpretation then becomes the matter of concern. Here comes the actual point of my blog today. My analysis of information makes me very optimistic that this is the time for ‘Youth-isation’ of business and commerce in India today.

The world is not shaped by the ones who was been but shaped by the needs of once who will be. Market predictions and trends very strongly indicate towards the prominence of youth across all sectors and categories, starting from more young user/ customer till better participation of youth in production/ selling. That’s why the year 2022 and onwards will be shaped by the youth led entrepreneurs. To me, one of the greatest reason for this is the fact that our young generation today gained the capacity to alchemise out the real gold from other metals and minerals of life.

Leveraging the experience of an observer as well as a generation massively impacted by the Pandemic, youth today are much conversant with the skill to identify their wants, their needs and essentially identify the difference between wants and needs. There are some key factors that will lead to establish young entrepreneurs like the adaptive ability to unlearn and relearn the changes that are visible during the phase of transition from adolescent to youth, from student to income earner. It’s quite safe to say today that there has been a trend of larger participation of young women and men in the Startup Business ecosystem in India and across the globe.

Another very interesting trend that puts some healing touch at the wound created by the pandemic is that the young entrepreneurs today show mode inclination towards social entrepreneurship or actually realised the fact that there is no other option to grow jointly. For many youths today, easiest way to ensure the survival of any Startup business is to reach out to unreached and untapped areas. Today, doing business only for making individual profit is no more an option, they intend to reach the zenith of the success with name, fame and respect. Many of them feel that they also have the responsibility to give back to the society and be a responsible and sustainable business person.

These are some examples of entrepreneurs are already working and trying to change the shape of the world. As because of the young generations know what the exact problem and they is know the solution too. And whatever they do not know, they do several works, good discussions, they do their study and they do their proper research which work to make it easy and also to make it available for each and every person who is also suffering the same problems which they have gone through. So in this way, the world is getting helped and living is been much more comfortable day by day.

  • Diana Paredes is from Peru. She is the CEO and co-founder of a software platform that enables financial institutions to understand and deliver their regulatory requirements. She left her career in investment banking to launch her own fintech enterprise which has been named on ‘The Fintech 50’. The bank of England has helped it for the solution in the complexities of regulation. It’s quite easy to understand the struggle and perseverance she had to show for doing business with a combination of financial inclusion, Fintech and Startup innovation.

I just have taken three names from a long list of young entrepreneurs across the globe, who not only did their business in optimal possible way but had the guts to get into a venture that strengthens an entire economy or at least a section of economy. This is exactly a young entrepreneur can do… optimisation of profit from business!

My personal observation from the entire ecosystem of business made me convinced enough that we are witnessing a revolutionary change in India… Youth- isation of Business! Let us all welcome it from the core of our heart and extend all possible supports towards these young brigade of change makers.
